I've been hibernating lately and haven't seen much of anyone so tonight it was nice to have dinner with four of these dear friends. Of course one of them said I'll probably end up blogging about it and, guess what, she's right. They are a blessing. Each and every one of them. Through the jokes and the insults I know no matter what they are always there. And I am happily stuck with them :) and they best be happily stuck with me.

What happens at the Mexican restaurant stays at the Mexican restaurant
About 15 years ago I was lucky enough to become a part of a group of young women that would soon realize they were stuck together forever. We've been lucky enough to adopt a few more in over the years too. You know the kind, you may not see them often but when you do it's like you never skipped a beat. The kind that it's okay if you tell them their God awful stinky bamboo disaster makes your sinuses want to jump out through your eye sockets, they will still love you and just laugh at your honesty. The kind that can drive you crazy threatening to wear fanny packs just to irritate you and while on the surface you are threatening their lives on the inside you are laughing at ever jab.
